SNAKE/ SNACK TIME! 乙巳蛇年

Taking inspiration from the Year of the Snake, the design transforms the English pun “Snake / Snack” into its core idea. While Lunar New Year is often accompanied by auspicious phrases and blessings, the Snake year offers fewer linguistic associations. Instead of forcing convention, this project embraces humor and irony, responding to the “lying flat” culture and the search for self-liberation in today’s high-pressure society.
Between stress and anxiety, “Snack” becomes a metaphor: there’s nothing a piece of cake or a short break cannot solve. Snacks symbolize a psychological buffer—simple yet effective, offering moments of comfort and release.
Visually, the work merges the serpentine form with elements of snacks and desserts, creating a playful, witty, and slightly deconstructed language. It serves as a reminder that knowing when to pause and take a breath is the real key to recharging energy and facing challenges with resilience.


以生肖蛇年為靈感，從英文「Snake / Snack」的諧音轉化為設計核心。傳統新年總伴隨吉祥話與祝福語，但蛇年的語言聯想相對貧乏，因此選擇跳脫框架，以幽默與自嘲回應「躺平」文化及當代壓力社會下的自我解放。
在生活高壓與焦慮之間，設計以「Snack」作為隱喻：沒有什麼問題是一塊蛋糕或短暫休息無法解決的。點心成為心理緩衝的象徵，一種簡單卻實際的療癒。
視覺上結合「蛇」的形態與「零食／甜點」元素，創造出一種輕鬆、詼諧又帶點解構的語言。作品希望提醒觀者：懂得在兵荒馬亂時刻暫停、放鬆，才是真正延續能量、面對挑戰的關鍵。
